1. Michigan’s March to Victory!

Michigan Realtors® will be competing against other state associations to see who can recruit the most RPAC Investors, and raise the most funds, during the Realtors® Political Action Committee (RPAC) March online campaign! Tip-off begins now, and the competition runs through April 5th!
Let your competitive spirit shine! By supporting RPAC, we can help promote and protect the real estate industry together. RPAC makes the voice of Realtors® heard at the local, state and federal levels of government and fights for issues important to real estate. RPAC also plays a strong defense in fending off burdensome proposals that would harm our industry.
The top four states with the most RPAC Investors and dollars raised will be announced on April 6, 2017. Those states will receive a special prize and of course, bragging rights!
Every investment counts, so let’s bust some brackets and send our state to the championship!

The Code of Ethics (COE) requirement now runs every two years. We are currently in Cycle 5, covering the period January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2018. NAR's Board Policy group has released the Cycle 5 course online at

Changes Impacting 2017 CE - Realtor® Code of Ethics

Although CE Marketplace will continue to certify Code of Ethics courses for CE credits, they will no longer be certified as Legal CE. This change is prompted by the new NAR-mandated, 2-year cycle for Code of Ethics training. Because of the frequency of the new requirement, it would now be possible for a member to take a course concentrated on the Code of Ethics as Legal CE two out of three years in the licensing cycle. While ethical and legal education often meet at a crossroad, the importance of Legal CE offerings focused on current legal trends, case law, and industry-specific legal topics could be diminished without a clearer distinction. As of February 1, 2017, any CE Marketplace certified COE will be recorded as Elective credits.
