Virginia REALTORS® Support Rosalyn Dance for State Senate

The Virginia Association of REALTORS® (VAR), through its REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC), has endorsed Rosalyn Dance for re-election in the June 9 Democratic Primary in the 16th State Senate district.

“From Mayor of Petersburg to the House of Delegates and now in the state Senate, Rosalyn Dance has a long and distinguished record as a public servant. We support her efforts to make homeownership more affordable and accessible,” said 2015 VAR President Deborah Baisden of Dance’s endorsement. “As a member of the Senate Local Government Committee, Senator Dance is in a key position to positively affect legislation important to our members and her constituents.”

“Senator Dance truly understands and has worked hard for the people of her district. Her efforts on affordable housing and boosting homeownership in our region are commendable,” said John S. Finn, Jr., 2015 president of the Richmond Association of REALTORS®.

“We are grateful to Senator Dance for her work promoting affordable housing and making the dream of homeownership a reality for more people in our region,” said 2015 President of the Southside Virginia Association of REALTORS® David Patsel.

“I’m honored to have earned this endorsement. The REALTORS® are a great partner to have as we work to improve the quality of life in our communities. I look forward to our continued efforts in homeownership and affordable housing,” said Senator Dance.

The 16th State Senate district includes portions of the cities of Richmond, Petersburg, and Hopewell and the counties of Chesterfield, Prince George and Dinwiddie.
