The premier event at our conference is the Recognition Lunch, where the IAR REALTOR® of the Year is named.  This year, that honor was awarded to Eric Seymour of the Lafayette Regional Association of REALTORS®. Don't Miss Professional Designation Days

RDD25.jpgEnroll in this three-day real estate education event and earn credits towards both the Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI) and Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) designations.  Courses cover topics such as identity theft,cyber security, residential real estate financial analysis and short sales and foreclosures.

Professional Designation Days will take place October 24-26 at Indiana Wesleyan University North in Indianapolis.

LEGAL ALERTDue to questions concerning the definitions of pre-qualification and pre-approval letters, a joint MIBOR/IAR Task Force met to discuss this issue.  The result was a white paper designed to educate REALTORS® on what to look for in a Pre-Approval letter including how to determine whether a lender is properly licensed, income issues, conditions, verification of asset issues and others.
