MAR Edge: Home and Auto-Owners Insurance 

The Michigan Association of REALTORS® extends a sincere thank you to all locals associations for their strong RPAC fundraising efforts this year. So far, twenty-two local associations have already met their 2011 state RPAC goal!

The 2011 Michigan RPAC goal is $410,000, and so far, RPAC has raised $389,207 toward that goal! But we still need your help. As a state, we are at 95% of goal, just shy by $21,000. If you haven’t done so already, please consider contributing to RPAC on behalf of your local association.

There is still time to get your 2011 RPAC contributions in. The RPAC recognition deadline for all local associations is this Friday, December 16th. To donate online, please click here.

Those local associations meeting and exceeding goal will be recognized for their great accomplishments during the 2012 MAR Achieve Conference, to be held February 16th and 17th at the Kalamazoo Radisson Plaza Hotel and Suites.

If you would like further information on your local association’s RPAC fundraising status, please contact the MAR Public Policy staff to provide you with an update.

NAR conducted a focus group and surveyed generation X and Y AEs to determine how to best inform, educate, and engage them so they can make valuable contributions and benefit from REALTORS® association activities. The focus group and survey took place August through October 2011.
