Golf Tournament Scores Big for HOME Foundation

HOME Foundation VideoThe 4th Annual Driving it HOME Golf Tournament (a sold out event!) was a big success, raising over $45,000 for this great charity. It was a beautiful day and golfers and sponsors alike had a great time while contributing to the fund.

Since its inception in 2004, the HOME Foundation has granted over $500,000 to Oregon non-profits dedicated to issues that are important to everyone in the real estate community, such as the creation of affordable housing and homebuyer assistance and education. Watch this new, five minute video to learn more about YOUR CHARITY!

QUORUM CALL

Call-For-Action: Protect & Preserve Nationwide Homeownership!

It only takes a few short seconds! Respond and tell Congress to preserve and protect incentives important to the real estate market! The United States Senate has adopted a “Blank Slate” approach that initially eliminates every provision in the tax code, including those that encourage real estate ownership and investment.

REALTORS® need to ACT NOW to protect incentives important to the real estate market, such as the mortgage interest and property tax deductions.

When approaching tax reform, Congress should be careful not to inflict adverse consequences on either the economy or the unique legacy that homeownership and real estate investment have contributed to the prosperity of our country.

Q: The use of DocuSign has allowed us to sit with our clients and have them sign all documents electronically via tablet, etc. If we immediately email them a copy of what they have signed but don't provide a hard copy due to not having a printer handy, are we violating any legal rules? Read Answer »
