January 2017

Hello, fellow Oregon REALTORS®!

George Grabenhorst

In my December President’s Message I outlined my goals for 2017 – improved industry professionalism; maintaining strong levels of communication; increased RPAC understanding and participation; and continued growth and expansion of OAR educational offerings. Last week the 2017 Executive Committee met to begin work on our action items for 2017. Looking forward, we have a very busy year ahead – we are dedicated to the real estate industry, our clients, private property rights throughout Oregon, and initiating impactful growth for all Oregon REALTORS®. Check out this video to meet your 2017 Executive Committee. We are excited for this opportunity to serve you and look forward to watching this year develop.

HOME Foundation is YOUR Foundation

HOME Foundation 1Million Video

We mentioned in past e-News editions that in 2016 we surpassed the $1 Million mark in grants awarded for affordable HOMEownership throughout Oregon since the HOME Foundation began just over 10 years ago! We appreciate everyone that has participated, sponsored, or otherwise supported this great cause! Click here or on the video image above to view the video we created explaining the HOME Foundation, organizations it's supported, and how YOU have made a difference in the lives of countless Oregonians. You can help the HOME Foundation provide grants in your daily life by using Amazon Smile or donating auction items for the Taste of Portland's Silent Auction. Amazon Smile is a program that Amazon has established that will give non-profits .5% of every qualified purchase you make - all you have to do is follow the link to set-up the HOME Foundation as your default charity and start shopping! We are also accepting Silent Auction donations for the Taste of Portland on Sept. 14. Support affordable HOMEownership by donating a bottle of wine or a weekend at your timeshare.
